Fabrice Van Hellemont
As the son of an antique dealer with a background in Art and Graphic Design from St-Lucas Antwerp, I quickly discovered the
pleasure of working in the field of aesthetics. My professional career began as an art director in several renowned advertising
agencies. In 2008, I co-founded a partnership advertising agency, where I developed a fondness for undertaking creative projects in a direct and open relationship with clients.
Today, I am still an Art Director, but with the added desire to share my passion for aesthetics in a less commercial and more
intimate context. Interior design has fascinated me since my youth. As a student, I had the opportunity to work for Top Mouton
Interior Design House, which allowed me to explore and understand contemporary design. It’s this blend of authenticity and
contemporaneity that has sparked my interest.”
As an Art Interior Director, it is my desire to bring in an additional soul, a story, in order to create a dialogue between
the inhabitant and their habitat.
I see Interior Art Direction as a creative compass that guides the aesthetics of a space. Just as a conductor sets the tone for a
musical ensemble, an Interior Art Director shapes the ambiance and visual narrative within four walls. This includes the meticulous selection of colour palettes, furniture, shapes, and lighting to evoke a desired atmosphere and theme. It’s the subtle
harmony between functionality and artistic expression, resulting in spaces that tell stories, evoke emotions, and resonate with
those who experience them.
